Sergeant A. E. Dearle, 20th Battalion (Rough Riders), Imperial Yeomanry, was mortally wounded at Ladybrand on 30 November 1900, and died the following day.

Arthur Edward Dearle was born in Kingston, Surrey, and attested for service with the 20th Battalion (Rough Riders), Imperial Yeomanry, at Victoria Street, London, on 9 March 1900, aged 22 years 4 months. He proceeded to South Africa on 14 April 1900. Sold with copy attestation papers.
