Royal Artillery officer’s sword, 1821 pattern, the 83cm blade etched with crowned VR cypher foliate scrolls and cannon, battery device and flaming grenade and within scrolls ‘1st Glamorganshire Artillery Volunteers, Swansea Bay District 1859. Deeds not words’ the last repeated on the back edge of the blade, regulation steel 3 bar guard, fish-skin covered grip bound with copper wire, complete with its steel scabbard, good condition throughout £200-250
