Keith Colin Ferguson was born in Port Arthur, Ontario, on 26 May 1908. A Railway Clerk by occupation, he was appointed a Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Artillery on 10 June 1941. Later with the Canadian Forestry Corps, he disembarked in France on 27 October 1944, serving with the 9th Company. Lieutenant Ferguson was killed in a motor accident on 25 March 1945. He was buried in the Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, Netherlands.
