2nd Lieutenant Frank Lipp, 2nd Battalion Scottish Rifles, attached 8th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers, died of wounds on 30 May 1916, aged 24 years. The son of James and Eliza Mary Lipp of La Perouse, Fochabers, Morayshire. His name is commemorated on the Delhi Memorial (India Gate).
