Anglo-Saxon, 8th cent, a gilt bronze rectangular shaped connecting mount, intricate chip-carved interlace design, divided by a central panel which had two iron rivets, additionally pierced on each side in the field, 2.4 x 2.3 cm. Good fine £100-£150
