Thomas Lewis Owen, a native of Neath, Glamorgan, attested for the Royal Field Artillery on 13 May 1915, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 18 August 1915, and subsequently in Salonika.

Charles Potter was born in Sheriff Hutton, Yorkshire, in 1891 and attested for the Royal field Artillery at Malton on 8 September 1914, serving with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 29 July 1915.
