A. Haygarth was a member of the Colne Division, St. John Ambulance Brigade, and served as an Orderly at 5 General Hospital in South Africa during the Boer War. He is also entitled to a Queen’s South Africa medal with clasp Cape Colony; a St. John Ambulance Brigade bronze medal for South Africa; and a 1914-15 Star trio.
