Sydney Albert Hookings, a Chauffeur and Mechanic from Molesey, Surrey, was born in 1889. He attested into the Army Service Corps on 9th November 1915 for service during the Great War and served in India and on the Afghanistan North West Frontier before being discharged in January 1920. He died in 1972.
