G. A. Sewell attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Second World War as part of the British Expeditionary Force. He was captured and taken Prisoner of War at Dunkirk, and was interned at Stalag 357, Oerbke, near Fallingbostal.
Sold with a silver 52nd regimental sports medal, the reverse scratch engraved ‘G. Sewell Final 1932 Feather’; and an O.B.L.I. cap badge and shoulder title.
