Thomas Henry Hoggett was killed in action on 30 April 1943, aged 24, and is commemorated by name on the Medjez-el-Bab Memorial, Tunisia.
Guardsman Hoggett was killed in the action of Djebel Bou Aoukaz, in which action Lance-Corporal J. P. Keneally, of the same battalion, won the Victoria Cross for bravery on the 28th and 30th April 1943.
