Three: Warrant Officer Class II E. R. Fraser, 14th Battalion, London Regiment, and Machine Gun Corps, who was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, and was later a Sergeant in the Special Constabulary

Ernest Robert Fraser attested for the 14th Battalion, London Regiment, on 1 July 1912, and served with them during the Great War on the Western Front from 15 September 1914. Subsequently transferring to the 168th Company, Machine Gun Corps, he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal (London Gazette 4 June 1917), and was discharged on 6 August 1919. He was awarded his Territorial Force Efficiency Medal per Army Order 380 of 1 October 1919, and later received a Special Constabulary Long Service Medal.
Note: The recipient’s Meritorious Service Medal and Special Constabulary Long Service Medal were sold in these rooms in May 2021.
