Victoria (1837-1901), Restrike Pattern Penny, 1860, by J. Moore for E. Shorthouse, in copper, type 2, laureate bust left, rev. Britannia seated to left on rock within inner beaded circle, great britain above, one penny below, edge plain, 11.08g/12h (F 843; BMC 2116). Characteristic group of rust spots on neck partially polished out, small knock on Britannia’s right knee and metal fault on lower edge, otherwise extremely fine, rare £300-£400
