During the Second World War, Caroline served as the Royal Navy's headquarters in Belfast Harbour. The last surviving ship of the Grand Fleet that fought at the battle of Jutland in 1916, she is now part of the National Historic Fleet moored in her position in Alexandra Dock in Belfast.
