Roman, a Dragonesque brooch, 2nd cent. AD, 35mm long by 20mm wide, East Brigantian style with central design of lozenge-shape panels inlaid with yellow enamel, head with large ears and a blue enamelled eye, joined to the body at its mid point, body with a central rectangular panel and three white enamelled cells, either side are swash Ns in blue enamel. Foot missing, otherwise green patina with 40% enamel £80-£100
