Charles I (1625-1649), Shrewsbury mint, Half-Pound, 1642, mm. two pellets on obv., none on rev., King on horseback left, plume behind, ground line below, three Shrewsbury plumes and mark of value above Declaration, date below, 60.18g/1h (Morr. D-2; SCBI Brooker 802, same dies; N 2366; S 2922). Typical flan flaw below horseman, otherwise better than very fine, very rare £3,000-£3,600
