3rd Foot Guards Officer’s Copper Gilt Gorget, a very fine and rare example correctly constructed on a wire frame, the shoulders engraved with be-ribboned military swags, additionally that on the left with laurels enclosing ‘3rd.’ and on the right, laurels enclosing, ‘Gds.’. To the centre the Arms of Great Britain pre 1801, approx. height 10.2cm, width 8cm minute gilt loss on the upper rim and Royal Arms otherwise very fine £1,000-£1,500
