O.B.E. London Gazette 10 July 1919:
‘For valuable services in connection with anti-submarine work.’

Claude Stanley Thicke was commissioned Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve on 10 July 1916, and was promoted Lieutenant on 10 July 1917. He served during the Great War in H.M. Motor Launch 468, and was demobilised in 1919.
