Henry I (1100-1135), Penny, Quadrilateral on Cross Fleury type [BMC XV], Gloucester, Thorr, thvri : on : glopec :, 1.38g/3h (Allen, BNJ 2012, p.89; ‘Beauvais’ 45, this coin [= EMC 1200.0927]; SCBI Gloucester 145 [= Bliss 171 and Lockett 1087], and FEJ 1087 [= Nat. Mus. Wales], same dies; BMC –, but listed in table of moneyers on p.ccxi [from Bliss 171]; N 871; S 1276). Some weakness, otherwise about very fine and toned, extremely rare £400-£500
