David Moir (later no. 240354) was born in Forfar, Scotland. He served during the Great War with the 4/5th Battalion, Royal Highlanders on the Western Front. Lance-Corporal Moir was killed in action, 8 April 1917, and is buried in Aix-Noulette Communal Cemetery Extension, Pas de Calais, France.
