Royal Irish Constabulary Officer’s Sword 1911-22, the 86 cm bright blade with spear point by ‘C.T.Henecy & Sons, 18, Crow St., Dublin’, the unfullered blade etched with the Imperial crown over an oval ‘Royal Irish Constabulary’ enclosing the Harp and shamrocks, crowned ‘GVR’ cypher and panels of scrolling foliage, wire bound fish skin grip, triple bar plated hand guard incorporating the Imperial crown over a stylised Harp, black leather sword knot with olivette, together with its black painted leather and metal scabbard, some paint loss to the leather scabbard otherwise very good condition £600-800
