Royal Irish Constabulary Victorian Period Officer’s Sword, the 84 cm bright blade by ‘John Ireland & Son, Ellis’s Quay, Dublin’ the unfullered blade etched with a crowned oval strap ‘Royal Irish Constabulary’ enclosing the Harp, crowned ‘VR’ double cypher and panels of scrolling foliage, triple bar steel hand guard incorporating the crown and a stylised Harp, wire bound fish skin grip, together with its steel scabbard, the scabbard with staining and surface rust otherwise very good condition £600-800
