Guadeloupe, French Administration: Authority of April 1804, Twenty Livres per gros, a Maria I, counterfeit 6,400 Réis, 1788, Rio, obv. countermarked 20 ≠ raised within a rectangular indent, with what appears to be a damaged or modified stamp as the animal head portion of it is missing, and an incuse ‘eye’, 8.63g/133.2 gr (cf. Gordon 17a/b; cf. KM. 4.2). Coin good fine but clipped moderately around the edge and a mount removed, countermark very fine, extremely rare £3,000-4,000
