3rd Foot Guards Officer’s Shoulder Belt Plate c. 1820 - 1825, an extremely fine example, the oval gilt back plate with raised silver rim thereon a silver star overlaid with a gilt oval ‘Nemo me impune lacessit’ enclosing a double leafed thistle spray, the whole of the central section on a ground of dark green vitreous enamel, complete with double hook and double stud fasteners and original leather liner, in very fine condition but the central design following a cleaning has been mounted upside down £800-1200
