North West Canada 1885, 1 clasp, Saskatchewan (J. H. Kellett 90th. Battn.) engraved in the correct Regimental style in upright capitals, extremely fine £600-800
John Henry Kellett served as a Private in the 90th Winnipeg Rifles during the operations to suppress Louis Riel’s Second Rebellion, 1885. All members of the Militia forces who were on active service in the North West in 1885 were entitled to a grant of 320 acres of land, and Kellett is listed as having claimed his entitlement.
