Jantjie Boy attested for the Native Military Corps at Wepener on 21 May 1941 and served during the Second World War with 14th Field Ambulance in north Africa, and was taken prisoner of War at Tobruk, 20 June 1942. Held at a P.O.W. camp in Germany, he was released on 21 April 1945 and discharged on 21 September 1945. Sold with copied service papers.
