A collection of four 19th century gold fob seals, the first of foliate design, inset with an oval bloodstone panel, engraved with crest and motto; the second modelled as a lion ridden by a boy, of two colour gold and inset with amethyst, bearing traces of sealing wax; the third inset with sardonyx panel reading: ‘Think of me as you do now until you see me changed or know me dead’; the fourth seal of hexagonal design, and inset with lapis lazuli panel and engraved with French inscription, all suspended from a gold reeded split ring, first length 25mm, second 23mm, third 21mm, fourth 20mm (excluding separate suspensory loops). £200-400
