Waterloo 1815 (Lieut. John Roe, 2nd Batt. 30th Reg. Foot.) fitted with original steel clip and ring suspension, light contact marks, otherwise better than very fine £3600-4600
John Roe was appointed Ensign in the 61st Foot on 29 August 1809, and Lieutenant in the 2/30th Foot on 18 July 1811. He was present at Quatre Bras and Waterloo, being slightly wounded on each occasion. He later served in India where he died at Madras on 30 December 1821, aged 32 years.
