The King’s Own Light Infantry (South Yorkshire Regiment) & The York and Lancaster Regiment Officers’ Waist Belt Clasps c.1881-1901, both of 1855 pattern, the first as shown in Ryan 219 shows a coiled bugle horn with rose centre and bottom scroll ‘Cede Nullis’, on the circle ‘The King’s Own Light Infantry’; the second with a Rose and Tiger centre and on the scroll ‘York & Lancaster Regiment’ (Ryan 229), the first with matching bench marks, the second without but a perfect match, slight gilt loss on the second item otherwise very good condition (2) £120-180
