Zachariah William Coles was a long serving member of the B.R.C.S. in both World Wars. A member of the Kent Home Guard he was the licensee of the Running Horses public house in Erith, Kent. He was killed instantly when the pub was hit during a bombing raid on 29 November 1940. Sold with copied research.
