Henry V (1413-1422), Groat, class B, mm. cross pattée, ‘scowling’ bust, no fleurs above crown, saltire stops, saltire after posvi, double saltire after tas and don, 3.81g/12h (Stewartby p.323; N 1386; S 1762A). Slightly weak on reverse, otherwise better than very fine and very rare £800-1,000

The coins of class A and B, traditionally attributed to Henry V, are now thought to be from the light coinage of Henry IV, c. 1412-13 (Stewartby p.278ff)
