Harold Kirby gained his Royal Aero Club Certificate (No. 4003) as a 2nd Lieutenant, R.F.C., flying a Maurice Farman Biplane at the Military School, Catterick, on 15 December 1916. Sold with copied R.A.C. details with photograph of recipient.
Kirby - Footnote refers to a different recipient whose medals were sold by Spink named ‘Lieut., R.A.F.’
