Queen’s Sudan 1896-98 (11254 Pte. T. Cooper, R.A.M.C.) good very fine £140-180
Thomas Cooper was born in Manchester. A Clerk by occupation, he attested for the Medical Staff Corps at London on 9 September 1896, aged 20 years, 2 months. With the M.S.C. and then the R.A.M.C. he served in Egypt and Sudan, January-December 1898 and Singapore, December 1898-December 1902. Transferred to the Army Reserve in May 1903 and finally discharged in September 1912. With copied service papers and roll extracts.
