Private Henry Arthur Green was born in Bampton, Oxfordshire on 2 November 1892. A Labourer by occupation, he enlisted into the Canadian Mounted Rifles at Toronto on 27 November 1914. Serving with the 4th C.M.R., he was killed in action at the battle of Mount Sorrel on 2 June 1916. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial.

With ‘4 C.M.R. Overseas’ cap badge; M.G.C. sweetheart brooch (lacking pin) and damaged card box of issue for the British War and Victory Medals.
