George Albert Taylor was born in Birmingham on 5 August 1888. As a Private in the 1st Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 20 October 1914. He was taken prisoner by the Germans on 30 October 1914. Awarded the Silver War Badge. Post-war his address was 289 Belgrave Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham. With copied m.i.c. and roll extracts.
