A 12th Lancers Other Ranks Cap Plate c. 1860 - 1901, the first a very rare example of standard design with leather front and padded leather reverse, steel chain mail visor, complete with original tape fasteners; the second a good example in die stamped brass with honours up to Central India, the uppermost ray tip missing and a small crack on the base, two screw post fasteners, very good condition (2) £300-500
