John Morgan was born and lived in Freuchie, Fife and enlisted at Portland, Dorset. Serving in the 2nd Battalion King’s Own Scottish Borderers, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 9 February 1915. He died of wounds on 27 April 1915 and was buried in the Wimereux Communal Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
