Private Charles A. Tucker, 1st Battalion Scottish Rifles, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 15 August 1914. Served as part of the 19th Infantry Brigade, 5th Division, in Smith-Dorrien’s II Army Corps. Served at Mons, near Conde; later at Le Cateau. Tucker later transferred to the Labour Corps. With copied m.i.c. - clasp confirmed.
