William Anderson Jack was born and enlisted at Elgin, Morayshire and lived in Aberdeen. Serving in the 1/5th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders he earned the Military Medal for bravery in the field. He died at Home on 28 October 1918, aged 20 years and was buried in the Allenvale Cemetery, Aberdeen. He was the son of George and Elsie Jack, of 14 Granton Place, Aberdeen.
