Indian Army Badges comprising an other ranks excavated cross belt plate of the United Malwa Contingent c. 1840 - 55 lacking all fasteners and the lettering almost illegible, additionally the badge features the HEIC lion and crown and laurel sprays; a die stamped white metal glengarry badge of the East Bengal State Railway Volunteers featuring a QVC, laurel sprays, unit title and a steam engine in the centre, a collar badge or side hat badge to the same unit in die stamped white metal featuring a strung bugle horn with ‘EBSR/Vols’ within the strings, both items with original copper loop fasteners. A head dress badge to the ‘Presidency Volunteer Rifle Brigade’ in die cast brass featuring a Guelphic crown over a Bath star with laurel centre and script initials ‘PVRB’, both fasteners missing (became part of the Calcutta Volunteer Rifles in 1898). An officer’s pouch belt plate for ‘D Company Calcutta Volunteer Rifles’ featuring laurel sprays, a Bath star with central ‘D’ and ‘Company’ on the circle and unit title at the bottom ‘Calcutta Volunteer Rifles’, the Guelphic crown finial now missing, three screw post fasteners, condition good other than as described (5) £250-350
