Glenn Martin Richards commenced his parachute training at Weston-on-Green in March 1967, while serving in 2 Field Squadron. Qualifying at R.A.F. Abingdon in February of the following year, he spent the remainder of his career as a Despatcher and parachutist.
Sold with the recipient’s original ‘Log Book of Parachute Descents with British Airborne Forces’, covering the period March 1967 to June 1978, and his R.A.F. Aircrew Flying Log Book, covering the period March 1974 to May 1984, both with extensive parachute entries from assorted aircraft and balloons, in addition to a good deal of work as a Despatcher.
The embroidered PJI Brevet is apparently Ghanian and may not relate to this recipient
