Private Martin Delahunty was killed in action whilst engaged in operations before the Delhi Gate during the siege of Mooltan on 21 January 1849. Only Major John Gordon and 12 other ranks of the 1/60th Rifles were killed during the entire Punjab campaign. Sold with research including extracts from the regimental history.
