Stephen Manning was born in Plymouth on 6 July 1873. Prior to joining the Metropolitan Police on 23 June 1902, he had served 3 years with the Weymouth Police and 10 years in the Royal Navy. On joining the Metropolitan Police he was posted to ‘S’ Division but after some infringement of rules in October 1906 he was strictly cautioned and transferred to ‘K’ Division. In June 1909 he was transferred to ‘Y’ Division; then transferred to Devonport in April 1919 and to ‘L’ Division in November 1923. He resigned on 11 August 1924. With copied service papers.
William Henry Lee was born in St. Mary Cray, Kent on 18 January 1869. A Carman by occupation and a former member of the 17th Lancers, he joined the Metropolitan Police on 15 October 1894. He served in ‘R’ (Greenwich) Division from November 1896 until his resignation on 22 March 1920. With copied service papers.
John Thomas Houndsome was born in Gosport on 10 October 1868. A Labourer by occupation, he joined the Metropolitan Police on 30 September 1889, serving in ‘S’ Division. He died whilst in the service. With copied service papers.
