Henry Scott was born in Denton Burn, Northumberland and enlisted at Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Serving with the 11th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, he died of wounds on 8 July 1916 and was buried in the Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France.
John Alfred Scott was born in New Hartley (Whitley Bay), Northumberland and enlisted at Blyth. Serving in the Army Cyclists Corps he entered France on 8 August 1915. Entitled to 1914-15 Star. Serving with the 18th Battalion Liverpool Regiment he was killed in action on 2 January 1917 and buried in the De Cusine Ravine British Cemetery, Basseux, Pas de Calais, France.
With named memorial scrolls for both the above, in card tube addressed to Mrs M. B. Scott.
