Mercantile Marine War Medal 1914-18 (Rowland Perry), extremely fine £60-80
Rowland Charles Perry, a Mess Steward, lost his life on the occasion the S.S. Weston Coast was torpedoed and sunk by the U-40 in the English Channel on 17 November 1917. Aged just 17 years, he was the son of George and Ann Perry of Bristol.
