Frank Phillips Wernicke was born on 19 April 1881. Qualifying as M.B. Ch.B. Ed. 1905, he was appointed a Lieutenant in the Indian Medical Service on 1 February 1906. Promoted to Captain in February 1909 and Major in August 1917. During the Great War he served in Mesopotamia and was mentioned in despatches and created a Companion of the Distinguished Service Order. He changed his name to Warwick in 1920. Promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in August 1925. With copied research.
