George Lorryman was born at Batley, York, a Weaver by trade. He was discharged on 6 July 1815, after serving 7 years 10 months, and was granted a late pension of 6 pence per day on 28 September 1852, being ‘wounded left leg at Badajoz & in left foot and right leg at Rodrigo’.
