George Farquhar enlisted into the 92nd Foot at Aberdeen on 3 September 1807. The muster rolls for the period 25 July to 24 December 1813, inclusive, show George Farquhar to be at ‘Vittoria wounded’, presumably received at the severe action at the Pass of Maya on 25 July when the 92nd suffered a casualty rate of some 46%. George Farquhar was discharged on 31 October 1814. Sold with copied muster rolls.
