Roy Francis Laughy died under anaesthetic whilst undergoing a dental operation at Medicine Hat, Alberta, on 22 August 1945, aged 34 years. Buried in the Medicine Hat (Hillside) Cemetery, he was the son of William and Mary Laughy, of Wanhan, and the husband of Alice M. Laughy, of Redcliff; sold with copied service papers.
