Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (William Mervyn Fry) good very fine and better (11) £70-90

Sub-Lieutenant William Mervyn Fry, R.N.V.R. was killed on 29 December 1916 when serving on H.M.P.M.S. Ludlow. The paddle minesweeper fell victim to a mine off the Shipwash light vessel. Fry was one of 6 casualties. His name is commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial.
