Arthur McMahon was born in Battersea, Surrey, lived in Holloway, Middlesex and enlisted at London. Serving with the 1st Battalion East Lancashire Regiment he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 22 August 1914. He was killed in action on 26 August 1914. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the La Ferte-sous-Jouarre Memorial. Clasp confirmed. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
